Steve Predko is a municipal councillor and mystery writer from Ontario. After a career leading technology organizations in the financial services, media, and healthcare sectors, he turned to fiction inspired by his experiences in local government and the unique characters found in small communities.
His debut novel, Council Bingo, combines municipal politics, local history, and mystery in the fictional Township of Denison Mill. He is currently writing the second book in the series, Council Business.
Steve serves as Ward 1 Councillor for the Township of Georgian Bay in Muskoka, where many of the challenges, personalities, and community dynamics that inspire his fiction can be found. He lives in Ontario with his family and spends much of his free time writing, reading, and exploring cottage country.
