Words and story and poetry are the crazy makers in the midst of my creative adventures.

A lifelong passion for artistic expression evolved from the visual arts to include the literary. Learning to tell a good story was cultivated around my family’s kitchen table. Competition for this ‘stage’ was fierce and the stories we shared involved a lot of table-pounding, were loud, true, hilarious, frightening, sad, poignant, and historical in their own way. It was much later in life that I made the transition from telling to writing stories and now, I cannot not write.

Today I live in Rainbow Country in near-northern Ontario on the shores of a spring-fed lake surrounded by woodlands. My fascination with the magic and mystery of this stunning, natural world invigorates and shapes my creative pursuits.
