A relative newcomer to creative writing, Bev spent most of her adult life in the field of education. A lifelong teacher of social issues and cultural imperatives, Bev has had ample opportunity to study the human condition in various manifestations.

As a researcher in story and narrative inquiry, it seemed natural she would transition from academic discourse to writing fiction. Currently Bev is working on her first novel but still finds time to put her hand to the short story format. She divides her time between her home in Toronto and her cottage in Muskoka, which she happily shares with her husband, Jack and her two black labs, Winnie and Zachary.
